The sea of silence has a unique allure,

No words uttered,
Not to a single soul,
It's better to explore the depths alone,
What is love without a lover?
What is a lover without love?
What are words without a voice?
Why do we crave power?
Power over others...
Power over ourselves...
Over things that make us shudder.
Why do people lie?
Why do we need so much money?
The comparisons, the competition;
The jealousy, revenge, hate;
Why do we bury our hopes in the sand?
Finding answers is exhausting,
And I couldn't manage to do it.
I succumb to sleep,
In the hopes of finding a sweet dream
