The Necessity of Books

Books can expand your world. It even does so with ease. There is no need to travel all the way to another country to learn about their culture. You can learn about any topic you are interested in directly from a professional. Even experiencing a world filled with magic, dragons and sword fights is nothing out of the ordinary. The benefits of reading is not limited to a better understanding of the world or just general enjoyment. An increase in attention span, better sleep, self improvement and many others are included as well . Course books provide merely a fraction of those benefits. Yet, some people grow up having only read those few school books. The more you do something the better you get at it. So it is obvious that if we want our children to read better, we need to make them read as much as possible. Despite that, people place more importance on sticking to academic books to get a high grade over encouraging reading for the sake of reading. For centuries, people have been preaching about the joys of reading, and will probably continue to do so for the centuries to come. Because more people need to experience the bliss of reading.
