Teaching to Love

In Long Walk to Freedom, Nelson Mandela writes, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, then they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. "

We are always seeking to find fault in others. About our own children or others but we forget that we are the one who raised them, and if they have any problems we can't ignore, we are also responsible for that. For others, we never know what they are going through. There's no guarantee that we would do better in their circumstances. Yet it's completely normal to degrade, judge, or shame others. Do we ever actually have time to think about their situation or show our care for them? There is no need to do everything for them. Just picking love over jealousy, egos, arrogance, pride or revenge is more than sufficient. Effective action comes from the heart, from love, it is unstoppable and it is enough. Just as Mandela stated people are born to love.
