My life, my happiness

 Life is not without difficulty, 

It is not without hardships.

Living amongst people is one such hardship.

There are those who will try to find fault in everything you do, 

They will speak badly of you when you are not around, 

They will try to harm you, 

In the face of such circumstances you must choose yourself.

You mustn't punish yourself by questioning your own worth,

You mustn't hurt yourself by taking away your happiness, 

You mustn't close yourself off from the world .

Your worth is far too precious to be left at the hands of others,

Your happiness isn't meant to be swayed by the opinions of other people .

After all it is YOUR worth, YOUR happiness .

It was never someone else's to begin with.
